The Story So far
- 17,000 people joined in with us in the last 2 years in drinking only water for 3 days to show we care about those who die from lack of clean water and to raise awareness of this
- Over 5,000 of these were schoolchildren
- We had 12 radio station interviews: BBC Radio Asian Network, Premier Christian Radio, BBC Radio WM (x2), BBC Radio Coventry & Warwickshire, BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester, BBC Radio Oxford, BBC Radio Stoke (x2), BBC Radio Shropshire and Cross Rhythms (x2)
- Newspaper coverage included: The Sentinel, The Shropshire Star, The Evening Mail, The Catholic Times, Catholic Today, The Universe and others
- Our website, water4all.org.uk, had hits from around the country and America
- We wrote to the Prime Minister and told him what we'd done
- It's great when young people go to a pop concert to show they care for others who are suffering and dying, regardless of creed, colour or race, but it's even more impressive if they are willing to do something that is hard
- We want to run this again each year, when it will be harder, but even more important to raise awareness
- We'd like to make it national and more inter-faith if we can get the help
